Puerto Rico – for those facing fears of many kinds

From a Latin American Christian leader living in Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico has continued to struggle economically for a decade due to losing factory jobs, the impact of hurricanes, and governmental failures. This has been another challenging year, beginning early on with frequent tremors (earthquakes) in the southern region, which are ongoing and have damaged hundreds of homes and businesses. And then the pandemic came, causing significant economic impact. There was an early lockdown, so the health impact was reduced.

  • Pray for churches as they seek to minister to those impacted by the years of economic challenges and the current fear due to the tremors and the pandemic.
  • A new government will be elected in November, so pray that there will be Godly leaders who will govern this land.
