Peru continues to see high coronavirus case and mortality rates. There are now confirmed 700,000+ cases and over 30,00 deaths. Because 70% of Peruvian workers are in the informal sector, many have been simply unable to isolate because they’ve needed to find work and feed themselves. But despite this, Peru’s economy has observed a record decline, with its gross domestic product down 40% from this time last year. Please pray for the millions of families who are experiencing the impact firsthand.
